War Memorials

There can be no greater Tragedy for a Family then to have Family members on opposite sides of a global confrontation. The Nigl Family experienced exactly this twice in the 20th Century. In WWI Nigl Family members fought on both sides of the conflict, and once again this Tragedy re-occurred in WWII. This occured to many other families as well, including the Bloechl, Reichenberger, Seibold and Stadler families, among many others. In fact, all those that came over to America from the Dreisessel area, whether Bavaria or Bohemia, probably had cousins, if not brothers, who fought on the German side of the conflict. The following photos and names are of those Family members caught up in this maelstrom.
